Silliness
I was walking along the sidewalk, minding my own business when I sensed someone was watching….I was right. This beautiful and intriguing face was looking out a window at me.
In fact, there were two of them. I could do a whole series from inside as they look out.
There is always something nearby to bring a smile.
Street photography has evolved from the gritty, black and white slice of life to a way to share life all around us. Sometimes it can even bring a smile.
What you can learn from a Chigi!
This little pup is a Chigi – a mix of Chihuahua and a Corgi. It’s not a very good photo as he was moving fast, but then his people stopped and when we talked they told me about a wonderful street photographer who didn’t have Flickr and WordPress to share her work, so I thought I’d spread the word (though I could be the last person to have caught onto her.)

These days everyone is a photographer, yet there seems to be a big business in taking pictures for people. I often photograph the photographers at work around town. It’s interesting how we want to have so many images of ourselves.
A day off
As a blogger I guess I can take a day off from the usual fare and just have a little fun. It’s a “snow day” here….or was this morning, so here are photos of life without people.
A short story
I was walking in our beautiful park one day when I came across a couple walking some little dogs. Several children had gathered to pet the dogs, but the owners cautioned that this little one had just been rescued the day before and they were not sure how it would react to a group or to children.
The answer is obvious.
